Highlights

Overview

The 15 Day Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek is a unique trekking journey that combines four of the most scenic viewpoints and two viewpoints, Australian Camp and Tadapani, in the Annapurna region: Mardi Himal Viewpoint, Mulde Viewpoint, Poon Hill Viewpoint, and Mohare Danda Viewpoint. This carefully designed route combines the best parts of the Mardi Himal Trek, Poon Hill Trek, Mulde Viewpoint, and Mohare Danda Trek into one rewarding adventure. The trek offers spectacular views of Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli, Nilgiri, and surrounding Himalayan peaks.
The trek passes through beautiful mountain villages, terraced farmland, rhododendron forests, and serene landscapes, along with peaceful hill settlements. The Mardi Himal Viewpoint provides an impressive close-up panorama of Machhapuchhre and the Annapurna range, while Mulde Viewpoint offers a wide Himalayan sunrise panorama. At Poon Hill, one of Nepal's most famous viewpoints, trekkers can enjoy unforgettable sunrises and sunsets over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Nilgiri ranges. The trail then continues to Mohare Danda, a quieter, less crowded viewpoint known for its peaceful atmosphere, traditional Magar villages, forests, and magnificent mountain scenery.

The Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek is ideal for trekkers who want to experience several of the Annapurna region's best viewpoints without completing four separate trekking routes. The combination provides a diverse trekking experience, from the popular trails of Poon Hill and Mardi Himal to the quieter paths around Mulde and Mohare Danda. Along the way, you can experience local Gurung and Magar culture, traditional villages, mountain hospitality, rhododendron forests, waterfalls, terraced fields, and changing hilly and Himalayan landscapes. With its mix of mountain views, viewpoints, culture, nature, and varied trails, this 13-day trek offers a memorable, comprehensive Annapurna trekking experience without going to high altitude.

Trip Preparation

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal ,Airport Pickup and Trek Briefing

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, our Asiana Treks and Tours representative will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Thamel. After check-in, you can relax, recover from your journey, or explore Kathmandu's lively streets.
In the evening, we organise a trek briefing with your guide. We check your trekking equipment, explain the route, accommodation, meals, weather, altitude, and safety procedures, and answer any questions before departure. If you need any additional trekking equipment, we can help arrange it in Kathmandu.
Overnight in Kathmandu. This day is not included in the 13 trekking days and is planned as the arrival day before your Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek begins.

Day 2 : Kathmandu to Pokhara, Drive to Kande and Trek to Australian Camp

Today, travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus or flight. After reaching Pokhara, continue by private vehicle to Kande, the trek's starting point. From Kande, the trail climbs through beautiful villages, terraced fields, and rhododendron forests toward Australian Camp.
Australian Camp is a scenic hilltop settlement offering beautiful views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), and surrounding mountains. The short first-day walk lets you start the trek gradually without excessive physical strain.
Enjoy the peaceful mountain atmosphere and sunset views from Australian Camp. Overnight at a local teahouse or lodge.

Day 3 : Australian Camp to Forest Camp

After breakfast, walk through the beautiful forest trail to Forest Camp, also known as Kokar. The trail passes through dense rhododendron and mixed mountain forests, making this section especially attractive during spring bloom.
The route gradually gains elevation as it passes through peaceful woodland, with occasional openings that offer views of the surrounding hills and mountains. The forest provides shade and a pleasant walking environment during much of the day.
After several hours of trekking, arrive at Forest Camp and check into a local teahouse. Enjoy the quiet surroundings and prepare for the higher elevations ahead. Overnight at Forest Camp.

Day 4 : Forest Camp to Badal Danda

Today, continue from Forest Camp toward Badal Danda, one of the scenic sections of the Mardi Himal Trek. The trail climbs steadily through rhododendron and Himalayan forests as the landscape gradually changes with increasing altitude.
As you gain elevation, the forest thins and the mountain views grow more impressive. On clear days, you can see Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and other peaks emerging above the surrounding ridges.
Badal Danda means "Cloud Hill," and its open ridge location offers an excellent setting to enjoy the changing mountain scenery. Spend the evening watching the sunset and relaxing at the teahouse. Overnight at Badal Danda.

Day 5 : Badal Danda to High Camp

After breakfast, follow the ridge trail from Badal Danda toward Mardi Himal High Camp. The vegetation becomes increasingly sparse as you move above the tree line, while the views of the Annapurna mountains become wider and more dramatic.
The trail passes through alpine grassland and rocky sections, with spectacular views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the surrounding Himalayan range. Take your time because the increasing altitude can make walking more demanding.
Reach High Camp in the afternoon and settle into your teahouse. If weather permits, enjoy the magnificent sunset over the mountains. Your guide will also discuss the next day's early-morning hike to the Mardi Himal Viewpoint. Overnight at High Camp.

Day 6 : High Camp toMardi Himal Viewpoint 4200 meter and Return to Forest Camp

Wake early for the main highlight of the Mardi Himal section. After a light breakfast, hike toward the Mardi Himal Viewpoint, where the trail follows a spectacular high ridge with panoramic Himalayan scenery.
From the viewpoint, enjoy close and impressive views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, and surrounding peaks. The sunrise over the mountains can be particularly memorable in clear weather. After spending time at the viewpoint, return to High Camp for breakfast.
Continue descending through alpine grassland and rhododendron forest toward Forest Camp. The descent provides a different perspective of the landscape and is generally easier than the previous day's ascent. Overnight at Forest Camp.

Day 7 : Forest Camp to Jhinu Danda – Natural Hot Spring

Today, leave Forest Camp and descend through beautiful forests and traditional mountain settlements. The trail eventually connects with the Annapurna Sanctuary route and continues toward Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs.
The walking route offers a mixture of forest trails, stone steps, terraced farmland, and views of the surrounding hills. As you descend, the vegetation becomes greener and the climate warmer.
After reaching Jhinu Danda, walk down to the riverside hot spring area. Relax in the natural hot spring and enjoy the peaceful surroundings after several days of trekking. Overnight at Jhinu Danda.

Day 8 : Jhinu Danda to Tadapani via Komrong Danda

After breakfast at Jhinu Danda, begin today's trek to Tadapani via Komrong Danda, following a quieter, scenic trail away from the main Chhomrong route. The trail initially climbs through lush forests and passes small settlements, terraced fields, and peaceful mountain landscapes. As you gain elevation, you can enjoy views of the surrounding hills and glimpses of the Annapurna range.
Continue toward Komrong Danda, a beautiful ridge area surrounded by rhododendron and oak forests. The trail is less crowded and provides a more peaceful trekking experience. In spring, blooming rhododendrons add colour to the forest, and clear weather may reveal views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail).
From Komrong Danda, continue along the forest trail toward Tadapani. The route involves several gradual climbs and descents before reaching the village. Arrive at Tadapani in the afternoon, check into your teahouse, and enjoy the mountain scenery; overnight at Tadapani (approximately 2,631 m).

Day 9 : Tadapani to Dobato

Today, leave the main trekking route and take a quieter trail to Dobato, a scenic settlement in the higher Annapurna region. The trail passes through dense rhododendron and oak forests, with occasional openings to views of the mountains.
This section is particularly attractive for trekkers seeking peaceful trails away from the busier routes. Depending on the season, the forest may be filled with blooming rhododendrons, and you may spot birds and other Himalayan wildlife along the trail.
Reach Dobato and settle into the local teahouse. The area is known for its mountain scenery and its proximity to Mulde Viewpoint, the main highlight of the next day. Overnight at Dobato.

Day 10 : Dobato to Mulde Viewpoint and Ghorepani via Deurali

Wake early and hike to Mulde Viewpoint, one of the spectacular viewpoints on this Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek. The viewpoint offers a broad Himalayan panorama, especially impressive at sunrise in clear weather.
From Mulde, return to the trail and continue to Deurali, then descend to Ghorepani. The route passes through rhododendron forests, mountain ridges, and traditional trekking areas with changing views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges.
After arriving at Ghorepani, enjoy a warm meal and rest at your lodge. The following morning brings another major highlight of the trek—Poon Hill, one of Nepal's best-known sunrise viewpoints. Overnight at Ghorepani.

Day 11 : Ghorepani to Poon Hill and Mohare Danda

Day 12 : Mohare Danda to Banthati

Wake early and enjoy the mesmerising Himalayan views from your bed at Mohare Danda. On clear mornings, the mountains can appear beautifully illuminated by the first sunlight, creating a memorable final viewpoint experience.
After breakfast, begin descending toward Banthati through forested trails and traditional mountain landscapes. The route passes through rhododendron forests, small settlements, terraced farmland, and peaceful hillside scenery.
The descent is a pleasant change after the higher sections of the trek. Arrive at Banthati in the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing evening, and reflect on the four major viewpoints experienced during the journey. Overnight at Banthati.

Day 13 : Banthati to Pokhara – Trek and Drive

After breakfast, continue walking from Banthati to the road-accessible area, then take transportation to Pokhara. The final walking section passes through green hills, forests, terraced farmland, and local villages.
After reaching Pokhara, check into your hotel and freshen up. Depending on your arrival time, you can enjoy a short sightseeing tour around Phewa Lake, Lakeside, or other popular Pokhara attractions.
This marks the end of the 13-day trek through Mardi Himal, Mulde, Poon Hill, and Mohare Danda. Enjoy a relaxing evening in Pokhara and celebrate completing your Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek. Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 14 : Pokhara to Kathmandu – Flight or Drive

Today, return from Pokhara to Kathmandu by domestic flight or tourist vehicle. The flight is the quickest option, while the road journey lets you enjoy Nepal's changing landscapes, rivers, hills, and countryside.
After arriving in Kathmandu, transfer to your hotel in Thamel. You can spend the remaining time relaxing, shopping for souvenirs, or exploring nearby cultural and historical sites.
In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner or free time in Kathmandu. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 15 : Final Departure from Nepal

Today is your final day in Nepal. Our representative will arrange your transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport according to your international flight schedule.
If your departure time allows, you can enjoy some free time in Kathmandu before heading to the airport. We hope the Annapurna Four Viewpoints Trek has given you memorable experiences of the Himalayan mountains, traditional villages, forests, local culture, and spectacular sunrise viewpoints.
