ZipFlyer is a thrilling experience where you are harnessed onto a pulley suspended on a cable 5,000 feet above sea level and sent zipping down an incline from the hills to the plains. Located in Pokhara, the adventure and nature lover's paradise, our Zip-Flyer launches from the peak of Sarangkot. This vantage point offers stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna Mountain Range and the Pokhara Valley. While you await your thrilling ride, you can enjoy the world's finest coffee from Illy CafÃ©. After your adventure, you'll land in the village of Hemja, approximately 2,000 feet below, near a Tibetan refugee camp. Following your heart-pounding experience, you can relax at our multi-cuisine restaurant and explore our souvenir shop to take home a piece of your adventure.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Adventure Day – Zip Line Experience in Pokhara

Your thrilling day begins early in the morning in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, known for its serene environment and stunning Himalayan views. After an energizing breakfast at your hotel or a local café, you’ll be picked up by a representative from the adventure company around 8:00 AM. A short, scenic drive takes you uphill to Sarangkot, the zip line launch site, located approximately 30 minutes away. Sarangkot offers panoramic views of Annapurna, Machapuchare (Fishtail), and Dhaulagiri ranges – a perfect spot for some pre-ride photos.

Upon arrival, you'll receive a brief orientation and safety instructions from certified zip line operators. All gear – including harness, helmet, and gloves – will be provided and double-checked for security. The excitement builds as you walk to the launch platform perched at 1,600 meters (5,250 ft) above sea level. From here, you’ll prepare for the ride of a lifetime: one of the world’s longest, steepest, and fastest zip lines, stretching 1.8 kilometers (1.12 miles) with a vertical drop of over 600 meters (2,000 ft).

Once you're strapped in and ready, the countdown begins. Then, in a rush of wind and adrenaline, you’ll soar over lush forests, deep valleys, and traditional villages, reaching speeds of up to 120 km/h (75 mph). The ride lasts about 2 minutes, but the memory will last forever. At the bottom station in Hemja, you’ll be met by staff and have the chance to relax, take photos, and share your experience with fellow adventurers.

After the ride, you’ll be transported back to Pokhara in a private vehicle, arriving by late morning or early afternoon. You can choose to enjoy lunch at one of the lakeside restaurants or explore more of Pokhara – perhaps take a boat ride on Phewa Lake or visit the International Mountain Museum. Your zip line adventure officially concludes upon return, but the thrill of flying through the Himalayan foothills will stay with you long after the day ends.
