Overview
Dahachowk Day Hiking is one of the best and perfect Hiking places to escape nature. It lies west of Kathmandu hill, from the top overlooking many Himalayan ranges in a tranquil environment. This hike is not famous for its mountain view and serene nature, well-known cultural-historical, and religious. Along the way, after dropping off by car started with a gentle walk. When we have reached the top, you are a fascinating panoramic view of the mountains. Ganesh Himal range is right in front of the north. Dahachowk hiking witnessed famous Hindu and Buddhist temples full of the legend of Indra Daha (pond), Manakamana temple and Dirgung Kagyud Rinchen Palri monastery. Another attraction along the route is the statue stand-off Martyred kaji Kalupande and his Grave, the brave campaigner and leading figure in the unification of Nepal with King Prithvi Narayan Shah. The trail takes around a 3-hour walk to pass by the unique village's lush green forest and fresh air, sometimes encountering spotted deer, monkeys and many birds. This moderate hike is suitable for every age and group.
