Day 1 : A day Tour to Patan and Bauddha.

This itinerary offers a well-rounded experience of the rich Buddhist culture and history of these two beautiful locations in the Kathmandu Valley.

Begin your day with breakfast. Your journey starts with a scenic drive to Patan, one of the three ancient cities in the Kathmandu Valley. As you approach Patan, you'll notice the intricate Newari architecture and the city's timeless charm. Upon arrival, head to Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll find a complex of palaces, temples, and courtyards that reflect the city's rich history. Remember to visit the Patan Museum to learn more about the history and culture of the area.

Enjoy a delicious Nepali meal at Patan Durbar Square in the afternoon. Savour traditional dishes like Momo, Dalbhat, and more. In Patan, you can visit several notable Shrine Mahabouddha, Golden, and Mahankal Temple. Marvel at the exquisite architecture and intricate woodwork of Krishna Mandir, Hiranya Varna Mahavihar, Vimsen Mander, Gokarneshowar Mahadev Mandir, and other structures.

After lunch, embark on a short drive to Bauddha (Boudhanath) Stupa, one of the holiest Buddhist UNESCO World Heritage Sites. In Bauddha, you'll be greeted by the mesmerising sight of the massive white stupa with its all-seeing eyes, as well as many monasteries; take a leisurely walk around the stupa while spinning the prayer wheels and observing the pilgrims and monks in their daily rituals. You can also explore the numerous nearby monasteries and shops selling Buddhist artefacts and handicrafts.

Finally, your driver will transfer you back to your hotel, where you can relax and reminisce about your memorable day exploring the Buddhist heritage of Patan and Bauddha.
