The journey commences with a breathtaking 35-minute flight from Kathmandu to Lukla during January, February, June, July, August, September, and December, or a 20-minute flight from Manthali/Ramechhap to Lukla coupled with a 4 to 5-hour drive from Kathmandu to Manthali in March, April, May, October, and November.
 Starting and culminating in Lukla, the trek follows the Dudh Koshi River's course, traversing the enchanting trails of Sagarmatha National Park en route to Namche Bazaar. Namche is the Everest region's primary trading hub, renowned for its significance in acclimatization.
The trek poses challenges, yet the captivating scenery of lush forests, terraced farmlands, undulating hills, and majestic mountains will serve as constant inspiration. Following a day of acclimatization in Namche Bazaar, the journey progresses towards Tengboche.
 Upon arrival, a visit to the revered Tengboche Monastery awaits. Subsequently, the trek leads to Dingboche and onward to Lobuche. En route, the trail reveals the vistas of Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Ama Dablam, and various other peaks.
 Advancing further, the trek navigates to Gorak Shep, skirting the edges of the Khumbu Glacier until reaching the Everest Base Camp. The base camp shows the Khumbu Glacier, the world's deepest glacier. The return journey entails spending the night back at Gorak Shep.
 The subsequent day involves a hike to Kala Patthar, a breathtaking vantage point from which to witness the sunrise over Mt. Everest and neighboring peaks. After soaking in the scenery, the trek descends to Pheriche Village.

The Everest Base Camp trek covers approximately 65 kilometers or 40 miles. This journey typically takes 7 to 8 days to ascend and 3 to 4 days to descend.
 With daily walks averaging 4 to 9 hours, fit trekkers can complete this distance in 7 to 8 days, including two days for acclimatization.
Although the Everest Base Camp trek isn't arduous, there are a few steep climbs, each lasting about an hour. Most days involve less than four hours of walking.

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Your trip day starts today when you arrive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.

Day 2 : Heritage Tour in Kathmandu

We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include;

Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience.

Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm.

Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

Day 3 : Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding. (5 km )

Take an early morning flight from Kathmandu airport to Lukla. The flight is a scenic Himalayan panoramic flight to the gorgeous mountain town of Lukla, the gateway to Everest trekking. After landing at the Lukla airport, take some time to prepare for the walk of the day. Start the trek for the day today to Phakding, a beautiful town on the bank on Dudhkoshi River. Approximately four hours of gentle walking on the Everest trail takes you to Phakding to spend overnight at a tea house.

Day 4 : Phakding – Namche (7 Km/ 4.8 Mils)

After taking breakfast at the tea house, you start the trek to astounding Sherpa town of Namche today. The walk today is mostly uphill making you cover a good distance of elevation. You will come across lots of yaks, Buddhist prayer flags, and many trekking adventurers like you and several other beautiful things. Once you arrive at Namche, you praise the charm of the town and the Himalayan view from there more. Check into a hotel and relax.

Day 5 : Acclimatisation Day at Namche (6. Km)

Already at the elevation of 3440 meters above sea level, you need to acclimatize with the high altitude atmosphere. Thus it is an extra day at Namche to acclimatize doing some uphill side hikes. Once you return back to Namche from the hike, you will have some time to explore the charming town of Namche as well.

Day 6 : Namche – Tengboche (8 Km)

Leave Namche early morning after breakfast. It is beautiful walk up to Tengboche, the monastic village in the Everest base camp trekking trail. On the way to Tengboche, experience some of the spectacular views around. Once you reach Tengboche and check into guest house, go and explore the monastery, learn about Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 7 : Tengboche – Dingboche (11 Km)

Trek to Dingboche via Diboche and Pangboche. After walking for about eight hours through beautiful mountain trails in the serene Everest trekking route, you reach Dingboche to stay overnight.

Day 8 : Acclimatization Day (6 Km)

You are already at the elevation of 4400 meters above sea level so you have an extra day here to acclimatize with the high altitude climate. Go for some beautiful hikes which will help you adjust your body into the thin air of the high altitude. Return back to Dingboche and stay relaxed.

Day 9 : Dingboche – Lobuche (7 Km)

Trek to Lobuche after breakfast. The trek today will take you through a mountain pass called Dugh La and then eventually to Lobuche. Once you are at Lobuche, you feel the Everest air even closer to you which is certainly invigorating.

Day 10 : Lobuche – Gorakshep – EBC (11 Km)

Start the walk for the day to Gorakshep after breakfast. The walk goes along the Khumbu glacier, highest glacier in the world, and Changri glacier. Once you reach Gorakshep, check into a guest house and have your lunch before you hike to Everest Base Camp. Walk to the base camp of the highest mountain in the world and enjoy your moments there for a while and return back to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Day 11 : Gorakshep – Kalapatthar – Pheriche all together (9 Km)

Another spectacular view point is waiting on you at Kalapatthar. Start your hike there early in the morning to catch up with the stunning sunrise view over the Himalayas. Once you reach Kalapatthar, you will be wonderstruck by the view of the mountains and the sunrise. After spending quality mountain time, return back to Gorakshep for breakfast. Trek down to Pheriche after breakfast.

Day 12 : Pheriche – Tengboche (7-8 Km)

Take your breakfast and walk your way down to Tengboche. After walking for about four hours, you reach the monastic town of Tengboche. Once you check into to your guest house and have your lunch, you can explore the monastery and the surrounding area.

Day 13 : Tengboche – Monjo (7 km)

The walk down today to Monjo passes through Namche. After walking for about six hours, you reach Monjo where you have overnight stay plan today.

Day 14 : Monjo – Lukla (7 Km)

Walk another six hours back to Lukla today after your breakfast. The walk passes through Phakding where you had spent you first night in the mountain. Reach Lukla and spend some leisurely time there.

Day 15 : Fly back Lukla -Kathmandu

Take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu. You will be picked up on your arrival at the airport and then transferred to hotel. You have a free afternoon to relax or explore. We will meet in the evening to go for farewell dinner.

Day 16 : Free Day in Kathmandu, up to you.

Spend your free day in Kathmandu exploring around. 

Day 17 : Departure to Tribhuvan International airport

We will drop you to airport three hours prior to your flight time. Drive takes 30 minute.
