This 3-4 day trek from Pokhara, extendable to a week by incorporating the Mardi Himal trek, offers astonishing Himalayan views and sunrise from the vantage point, Korchan (3700m). The serene trekking trail, untouched landscapes, verdant forests, and charming ethnic villages like Saripakha, Hile Kharka, and Mirsha Village make Khumai Danda a magical destination for those seeking solitude and a delightful time in nature.

Trip Itinerary

This serves as the launchpad for your trekking adventure. Begin your walk through woodlands, small villages, and terraced fields, enjoying the picturesque surroundings. The trek from Hemja to Hile Kharka takes approximately 6 hours, offering a relatively easy walk. Ghachowk, renowned for its panoramic Himalayan views, lies along the route to Hile Kharka. Take your time to soak in the sights of Macchapuchre, Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal from Ghachowk.

This leg feels like a jungle walk, leading you through peaceful yet slightly challenging forested terrain. The trail narrows and is adorned with grassy hills. Despite the challenges, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Macchapuchre, Dhaulagiri, and Annapurna. Passing through Samsur Deurali, you'll eventually reach Khumai Danda, nestled in the shadow of the mighty Macchapuchre Himal.

Marvel at the breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of Mardi, Annapurna, and Macchapuchre from this elevated vantage point. Take some quality time amidst the tranquility of the Himalayas before descending to Ghachowk.
