Our porters will carry up to 25 kg each. If you need a porter for yourself, we can arrange that. We also recommend carrying a small backpack for your valuables and important documents. You can leave extra luggage at our office in Kathmandu.

Accommodation during Everest Luxury Trekking:

During the Everest Luxury Trek, your accommodation will provide the highest level of comfort in the region. You'll stay at Yeti Mountain Homelodges and  Everest Summit Lodges for their luxurious amenities and cozy atmosphere in key trekking locations. You'll enjoy stays in areas where Yeti Mountain Home and Everest Summit Lodges are available. For some places without these lodges, carefully selected comfortable guest houses will ensure a pleasant and restful stay throughout your journey.

Meals during Everest Luxury Trekking:

Eating well is very important during the Everest Luxury Trek, as proper nutrition is crucial for trekking in the high Himalayas. While the meal options may not be as varied as in the cities, you will still enjoy a wide range of nutritious foods throughout the trek. You will receive nine breakfasts, eight lunches, and seven dinners, ensuring you're well-fed during the Trip.

The menu includes a mix of local, Asian, and Western dishes, though the variety becomes more straightforward as you ascend higher. Be sure to try popular Nepali foods such as lentils, rice, curry, dumplings, noodles, and spaghetti. We strongly recommend consuming fresh vegetables and staying hydrated with drinks like Hot lemon, Green tea, ginger tea, lemon tea, and garlic soup, which are particularly beneficial at high altitudes.

While non-vegetarian meals are available, we suggest avoiding them for hygiene reasons. Additionally, it's wise to refrain from consuming dairy, cheese, alcohol, caffeine, and hot chocolate during the trek. Please remember that the package does not include beverages and additional drinks at lodges or cafes.

Drinking water:

Daily safe drinking water is essential when trekking in Nepal to prevent dehydration. Our luxury trekking packages are the best tourist destinations, where optimum facilities and amenities for pure drinking water are reasonably available so that we do not have to worry about safe drinking water during the Everest luxury trekking.

Extra Personal Expenses:

While most expenses during the Trek are covered, you'll need to spend money on accommodations and meals if you love to take souvenirs and additional beverages. We estimate about USD 20-30 per trekking day for miscellaneous expenses.

Toilet Facilities in Everest Luxury Trekking:

The Everest Luxury Trek boosts comfort by upgrading bathrooms. Private spaces with Western-style toilets are standard in lodges you will stay in, offering a familiar and cozy setting. Private bathrooms are now standard, giving you privacy during your journey. Throughout the trek, a hot shower is provided. Hot showers are great for relaxing after a tough day's trek. Cleanness and hygiene are top priorities, and the lodges keep everything clean. This trek lets you enjoy and not worry about hot water.

Internet Connectivity:

Keeping in touch on the Everest Luxury Trek can be challenging, yet you have some choices if you want some online time. Wi-Fi is hard to find high up, and although lodges might offer it for a price, the signal and speed often do not work well. Everest Link, a local paid service, could give you a connection in certain places, but it's hit or miss. Cell service is also sporadic, with significant carriers Ncell and NTC providing limited coverage in some areas. Above all, the Everest Luxury Trek focuses on letting you enjoy the fantastic Himalayas and stepping away from online life. So, while you might manage to send a few updates, a real break from digital life is a big part of what you'll get.

Electricity voltage and plugs:

However, 95 % of Nepali people have access to electricity as of May 29, 2023. Almost all popular trekking routes, teahouses, and lodges have electricity. However, some isolated and solo trekking tea houses in the jungle don't have electricity. Most of these tea houses let travelers charge their devices for a small fee. The average electrical voltage in Nepal is 230 volts, with plug types like Type C, Type D, and Type M. Travellers should bring a suitable adapter and, if needed, a voltage converter for their electronic devices. Regarding the Everest Luxury trek, all places have electricity.

Trip Extension:

Kathmandu's unique and vibrant culture bewitch the visitors there or one can go on an exciting wildlife tour in the Chitwan National Park. Adventurous people can obtain peace over Gokyo turquoise lake or the challenging route to the Everest Base with a view from the Cho La Pass. Decide by your interest, physical endurance, and your pocket to have the right addition to make your Nepal trip most enjoyable.

Trek Difficulty:

Everest Luxury Treks offer a taste of opulence in the Himalayas, but don't be fooled by the comfort - it's still a challenging adventure. The high altitude is the main hurdle, with Everest Base Camp reaching over 5,300 meters. Expect potential altitude sickness. The trails themselves are uneven and sometimes steep, requiring good fitness for daily hikes. While luxury lodges ease the experience, you'll still need endurance to conquer this trek.

Important Note

Nepal is a country of differences with various landscapes, including towering mountain ranges, lush forests, and a vibrant cultural heritage. The best time to travel to Nepal depends on your preferences and the type of excursions or events you intend to participate in. Generally, Nepal has four distinct seasons, each with unique charms and challenges.

Autumn Season: September to November is Nepal's best time for trekking and outdoor activities. Clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and festivals like Dashain Tihar and Chhat make this period ideal for experiencing Nepali culture.

Winter Season: Cold temperatures start in late November or early December, but clear skies suit budget travelers. Lower-elevation treks and skiing/snowboarding in ski resorts are popular activities.

Spring SeasonFrom late February to May, warmer temperatures make it perfect for trekking. Rhododendrons bloom, adding to the scenic beauty. Celebrations like Holi and Buddha Jayanti occur during this time.

Summer Season: Monsoon rains from June to August make trekking challenging, but it's a great time to experience lush greenery and agriculture. Ideal for peace seekers and cultural tours of cities accessible by road.

Fitness and Training:

Trekking and climbing in Nepal's high-terrain Himalayas require physical fitness and training for a safe journey. Trekking involves walking long distances, sometimes for hours daily, over different terrain and at high altitudes. The Everest Luxury Trekking is a premium trekking experience in the Everest region, offering breathtaking Himalayan views and rich Sherpa culture without sacrificing comfort. Asiana Treks & Tours has curated this journey for travelers who wish to explore the beauty of the Everest region while enjoying high-end accommodations, personalized services, and gourmet meals. The route typically includes highlights such as Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, and Everest View Hotel, all while staying in some of the finest luxury lodges available in the Khumbu region.

Unlike standard trekking options that involve basic tea houses and shared facilities, the Everest Luxury Trek includes upscale lodges with private rooms, en-suite bathrooms, heated dining areas, and high-quality bedding. The service is more refined, with well-trained staff, gourmet meals, and additional amenities like Wi-Fi, hot showers, and electric blankets at many stops. Asiana Treks & Tours also offers private guides and porters, helicopter options, and custom itineraries tailored to your comfort level.

This trek is ideal for travelers who want to experience the Himalayas in comfort, including families, seniors, honeymooners, and busy professionals who want an immersive mountain adventure with modern conveniences. The route is not too strenuous and is designed for those with moderate fitness levels. It’s perfect for anyone seeking stunning Himalayan scenery, authentic culture, and elevated service standards without enduring the hardships of high-altitude expedition-style trekking.

The Everest Luxury Trek usually lasts 8 to 12 days, depending on your preferences and customizations. Most itineraries begin with a scenic flight to Lukla, followed by overnight stays at luxury lodges in Phakding, Namche Bazaar, and Tengboche. The highlight often includes a day trip to Everest View Hotel (3,880 m) for tea with a panoramic view of Everest and Ama Dablam. The trek can be extended to include Thame, Khumjung, or even Gokyo Lakes via helicopter for those wanting a deeper experience without trekking farther on foot.

Asiana Treks & Tours partners with renowned mountain lodges such as Yeti Mountain Home and Everest Summit Lodges. These establishments offer comfortably furnished rooms, private bathrooms, solar-heated showers, full-service dining, and often stunning mountain-facing balconies. Some lodges also offer spa services, organic gardens, and local cultural performances. In Kathmandu, the trek is paired with stays at 4 or 5-star boutique hotels, ensuring luxury from arrival to departure.

The ideal time for the Everest Luxury Trek is spring (March to May) and autumn (mid-September to November). These months offer clear skies, mild temperatures, and excellent visibility of Everest and surrounding peaks. While winter treks are possible and quieter, temperatures can be cold. Asiana Treks & Tours avoids monsoon season (June to August) due to rain and cloud cover that may affect both the views and flight schedules.

Although the trek doesn’t reach extreme altitudes like Everest Base Camp, you will still ascend to over 3,800 meters, where altitude sickness can occur. Asiana Treks & Tours ensures the itinerary allows gradual acclimatization and includes trained guides to monitor your health. The use of luxury lodges at intermediate altitudes, plus access to helicopter evacuation services if needed, ensures safety and peace of mind.

Yes, the required permits—Sagarmatha National Park Entry Permit and Khumbu Pasang Lhamu Rural Municipality Permit—are included in the trek package. Asiana Treks & Tours handles all paperwork on your behalf for a seamless travel experience.

The Everest Luxury Trekking package includes Kathmandu–Lukla round-trip flights, all accommodation in high-end lodges and hotels, all meals during the trek, licensed English-speaking guide and porters, permits, airport transfers, and welcome/farewell dinners in Kathmandu. Extras such as domestic helicopter flights, spa treatments, or private tours in Kathmandu can be added to enhance the experience.

Asiana Treks & Tours offers unmatched local expertise, personalized attention, and a commitment to quality and client satisfaction. With a network of luxury partners, highly experienced guides, and a team focused on comfort and safety, they create customized, high-end trekking experiences that preserve the authenticity of the Himalayas while ensuring every detail is handled professionally. Whether you’re marking a special occasion or simply want to enjoy the Everest region in style, Asiana delivers an experience that’s both memorable and indulgent.

The best seasons for trekking to Dudh Kunda are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). These months offer clear skies, mild weather, and the most comfortable conditions for trekking. Springtime brings blooming rhododendrons and greenery, while autumn offers crisp mountain views. While the trek can be done in winter, snow around the lake area can make access challenging. The full moon in August is also a special time, when local pilgrims gather for a religious festival at the lake.

Dudh Kunda is considered a holy site by both Hindus and Buddhists. According to local belief, a bath in the lake can cleanse sins and grant blessings. Pilgrims visit the lake each year, especially during Janai Purnima (August full moon), to perform religious rituals. The trail passes through culturally rich villages where Tibetan Buddhist traditions and Himalayan animist beliefs coexist. Asiana Treks & Tours encourages responsible travel and provides cultural insights through knowledgeable local guides.

No prior trekking experience is required for the Everest Luxury Trek. The route is moderately graded and involves walking 4–6 hours per day. Asiana Treks and Tours supports all fitness levels and ensures you have acclimatization breaks and a gradual ascent. Our experienced guides provide encouragement and monitor your health to ensure a smooth experience. However, some basic physical fitness and preparation, like walking or light hiking, is recommended beforehand.

While the trek is not extremely difficult, it does involve walking at high altitude and moderate physical exertion. You will be trekking between 2,800m to 3,800m, so cardiovascular fitness and stamina are helpful. Asiana Treks and Tours designs the itinerary to include ample rest, acclimatization, and nutritious meals. Porters carry your luggage, so you only need a light daypack. With proper pacing and support, the trek is very manageable for most people.

Meals on the Everest Luxury Trek are both nutritious and delicious, prepared to meet international hygiene standards. Expect a variety of Nepali, Continental, and Asian cuisines. Breakfast typically includes eggs, toast, cereals, fruit, and tea/coffee. Lunch and dinner offer options like dal bhat, pasta, soups, grilled meats, momos, and desserts. Vegetarian, vegan, and special dietary requests can be accommodated. Dining areas in the luxury lodges are cozy and well-appointed for a relaxed experience.

Asiana Treks and Tours specializes in small group treks to ensure a personalized experience. The typical group size ranges from 2 to 10 people, though private treks are also available for couples, families, or solo travelers. Small groups allow for better attention from the guide, smoother logistics, and more meaningful interactions. If you're booking a private trek, the itinerary, pace, and services can be fully customized to your preferences.

While you are trekking in remote areas, many of the luxury lodges offer Wi-Fi access (usually for a small fee). Mobile connectivity is available in larger villages like Namche Bazaar and Phakding, although the signal can be inconsistent in higher altitudes or deeper valleys. Asiana Treks and Tours will provide guidance on communication options and can also assist with local SIM cards or satellite phones for emergencies.

Asiana Treks and Tours takes every precaution to prevent medical emergencies. In the rare case one arises, our guides are trained in first aid and altitude sickness response. We carry portable oxygen, first aid kits, and satellite phones where needed. If necessary, we coordinate immediate helicopter evacuation to Kathmandu or the nearest hospital. Travel insurance that covers high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation is mandatory and should be arranged prior to arrival.

Yes, Asiana Treks and Tours provides free luggage storage at your hotel in Kathmandu for any items you don’t need during the trek. We recommend you pack only essentials for the trek in the duffel bag we provide. Upon returning to Kathmandu, your belongings will be ready for pickup. This service is safe, convenient, and included in your package—so you can travel light and worry-free during your adventure.
