Fitness and Training:

The Nepal Experience is a rewarding adventure. Your fitness level is essential, whether you are a beginner or a senior Citizen. Based on our experience, this Tour suits ordinary people who would enjoy it.

Asiana Treks and Tours recognizes the importance of considering varying fitness levels for tours, mountain expeditions, peak climbing, adventure activities, and tour packages. We understand that every traveler visiting Nepal has unique health and fitness levels. For specific segments of our Trek or tours that don't venture into high-altitude or remote areas far from the city, a basic fitness level is essential for their holiday. We ensure that our packages are flexible and cater to your needs, clearly outlining suitable itineraries, whether they require average fitness levels or more demanding levels, and categorizing them accordingly. However, for activities such as short and easy Trekking, luxury trekking, luxury tours, day hikes and tours, helicopter tours, and adventure activities, an average fitness level is sufficient for your holiday in Nepal.

The region is home to rare one-horned rhinoceroses, Bengal tigers, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. Naturalist guides lead all activities, ensuring both safety and deep insight into Nepal’s rich biodiversity. The cultural program in the evening features traditional Tharu music and dance performances.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Understanding the cancellation and refund policy is important to safeguard your travel plans. Asiana Treks and Tours maintains a fair and transparent policy that balances traveler flexibility with the operational realities of tour arrangements. If you decide to cancel your booking, cancellation fees apply depending on the timing of your notice.

Cancellations made more than 45 days before departure usually receive a full refund minus a small administrative fee.

Between 30 to 45 days, a partial refund is provided, often around 50% of the total tour cost.

Within 30 days of departure, cancellations generally result in no refund due to non-recoverable costs such as hotel bookings and flight reservations.

In exceptional circumstances such as government travel restrictions or natural disasters, Asiana Treks and Tours will work closely with clients to offer alternative dates or credit for future tours. Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen cancellations.

Cancellation policy key points:

Refund amounts depend on cancellation timing

Clear communication required to process cancellations

Administrative fees may apply for early cancellations

No refunds for last-minute cancellations within 30 days

Travel insurance recommended for added protection

Always review the cancellation terms at booking and consider purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential risks.

Required Travel Documents
Traveling to Nepal requires certain essential documents to ensure a smooth entry and participation in the Nepal Highlight Tour. All travelers must have a valid passport with at least six months’ validity beyond the intended departure date from Nepal. A visa is mandatory for most nationalities and can be obtained upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport or in advance from Nepalese embassies worldwide.

Additionally, travelers should carry proof of onward travel or return tickets as immigration authorities often require this to issue a visa. Vaccination certificates, particularly for COVID-19, yellow fever (if traveling from infected areas), or others, may be required based on international health regulations. Asiana Treks and Tours provides a detailed list of recommended vaccinations and health precautions during the pre-departure briefing.

Travel documents checklist:

Valid passport with minimum 6 months validity

Nepal tourist visa (obtain on arrival or in advance)

Proof of onward/return travel

Vaccination certificates (COVID-19, yellow fever, etc.)

Travel insurance documentation (strongly recommended)

Carry photocopies of all documents and store them separately from originals to avoid loss. Asiana Treks and Tours offers assistance and advice for obtaining visas and documentation if needed.

Group Size and Age Limits
Asiana Treks and Tours structures the Nepal Highlight Tour to provide personalized attention and a comfortable travel experience by limiting group sizes and setting age guidelines. The typical group size ranges from 4 to 12 participants, allowing for small-group dynamics that enhance interaction with guides and local culture, while avoiding the impersonality of large tour groups.

The minimum age to join the tour is usually 12 years old, ensuring that participants are mature enough to handle the moderate physical activity and the cultural environment. Children under 12 can sometimes join if traveling with family and with special arrangements made in advance. There is no strict upper age limit, but participants should be in reasonable health and capable of participating in activities such as short hikes and jeep safaris.

Group and age guidelines:

Small groups of 4 to 12 travelers

Minimum age generally 12 years

Special arrangements for younger travelers possible

No strict maximum age, but good physical condition recommended

Focus on safety, comfort, and enjoyment for all ages

This approach ensures a friendly, manageable group atmosphere that enriches the tour experience while maintaining safety and comfort.
