After a smooth flight, your Annapurna Circuit Trek officially begins as you arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon arrival, our friendly company representative will warmly welcome you at the airport, holding a signboard with our company name for easy identification. You’ll then be transferred to your hotel in the heart of Kathmandu, where you can check in, refresh, and unwind after your journey.
Later in the day, take a stroll around Thamel, Kathmandu’s bustling tourist district filled with cosy cafés, local restaurants, trekking gear shops, and cultural boutiques. This is also a great time to exchange currency and pick up any last-minute trekking essentials. At 5:00 p.m., we’ll conduct a pre-trek briefing at our office or your hotel, where you’ll meet your trekking guide, check your equipment, and review all critical details about your upcoming Poon Hill and Mardi Himal Trek. Afterwards, we’ll enjoy a welcome dinner in Thamel, a perfect introduction to Nepali hospitality and cuisine.
After breakfast at the hotel, we drive to Chitwan for an exceptional jungle safari tour. A five-hour drive by tourist bus takes us to the tropical Chitwan National Park area where we will have various jungle safari activities. Once we reach the hotel in Chitwan, we will be briefed about the activities schedule. We will go to Tharu ethnic village to visit and in the evening ready for the Tharu cultural program.
