It's rare to experience high altitude sickness at elevations lower than 3000 meters. Hydration is a prime concern in preventing dehydration during the Tour. Drinking plenty of water throughout your Tour helps you stay hydrated, reducing the risk of altitude sickness. Booking with us ensures our guides provide the right advice and assistance during your Trek.
Typical Day on a Nepal Tour
Your Nepal tour begins around 7–8 AM, depending on the day's itinerary and travel distance. Each day brings new experiences as you explore different places, enjoy stunning landscapes, and interact with locals to learn about their culture, traditions, and way of life.
Our experienced guides will share insights about the places you visit throughout the journey. Sometimes, we reach lunchtime some day at an overnight spot, and some days, we travel longer distances to reach the overnight destination. Some days, after lunch, a short drive leads to your next stop, allowing free time to explore before nightfall; we stroll around for unique places and sunset views of the mountains, temples, and villages.
Dinner is typically served around 6–7 PM, followed by a briefing from your tour guide about the next day's plan. After dinner, you can relax, play games, or even learn Nepali words from our team for a fun cultural experience.
Safety Considerations for Nepal Tours
Nepal is a safe destination for travellers, and this Tour is suitable for all age groups—whether you're under 20, over 80, a solo traveller, a student, part of a women's group, or even a solo woman. However, this trip is specifically for seniors. The trip primarily focuses on city sightseeing and natural Himalayan views without extreme risks.
However, during the monsoon season, some areas are prone to landslides. Our skilled guides and drivers are well aware of these spots and ensure a safe and smooth journey throughout the trip.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Himalayan Triangle Tour is a well-balanced travel experience that takes you through three distinct yet interconnected regions of Nepal: the cultural valleys (Kathmandu and Bhaktapur), the mountain viewpoints (Nagarkot and Pokhara), and the tropical lowlands (Chitwan). This triangle-shaped route highlights the diversity of Nepal in a single journey. Organized by Asiana Treks & Tours, the tour combines heritage exploration, mountain scenery, and wildlife adventure—making it one of the most comprehensive and enriching non-trekking tours in Nepal.

The Himalayan Triangle Tour begins in Kathmandu, where you'll explore ancient temples, bustling bazaars, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. A day trip to Bhaktapur and Changu Narayan offers deep insights into Nepal’s medieval architecture and spirituality. From there, the tour leads to Nagarkot, a serene hill station known for its stunning Himalayan sunrise views. In Pokhara, you’ll experience the tranquil beauty of Phewa Lake, visit Davis Falls, and enjoy spectacular mountain views. Finally, the tour takes you to Chitwan National Park for an exciting safari, where you can encounter rhinos, crocodiles, and perhaps even Bengal tigers.

Yes, this tour is ideal for travelers of all ages, including families with children, seniors, and couples. The tour is non-strenuous and involves easy walks, cultural sightseeing, and comfortable drives. Asiana Treks & Tours ensures that all activities are accessible and customizable depending on your preferences and physical comfort. Optional activities like canoe rides, jungle safaris, or cultural dance performances in Chitwan can be tailored for all comfort levels.

Bhaktapur is a living museum of Nepalese culture and architecture. With its preserved medieval streets, temples, and palaces, it offers a step back in time. Changu Narayan, a short drive from Bhaktapur, is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Nepal and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It stands on a ridge offering not only spiritual insight but also beautiful panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. These destinations allow travelers to connect deeply with Nepal’s ancient traditions and religious heritage.

In Nagarkot, you’ll experience breathtaking sunrises over the Himalayas, including views of Mt. Everest on a clear day. It's a quiet, romantic destination, ideal for unwinding amidst nature. In Pokhara, you’ll enjoy the peaceful lakeside environment, boat rides on Phewa Lake, and visits to local highlights such as the World Peace Pagoda, Mahendra Cave, and the International Mountain Museum. Optional activities like paragliding or ultralight flights over the Annapurna Range are also available for adventure enthusiasts.

Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a complete wildlife safari experience. You can enjoy jeep safaris, canoe rides, jungle walks, and Tharu cultural performances. Chitwan is one of the few places in Asia where you can spot the endangered one-horned rhinoceros and, with some luck, even a Bengal tiger. It’s a perfect way to end the tour with a taste of Nepal’s subtropical biodiversity and rich indigenous culture.

Asiana Treks & Tours provides carefully selected accommodations that blend comfort with character. In cities like Kathmandu and Pokhara, you’ll stay in modern boutique hotels with excellent amenities. In Nagarkot, accommodations are chosen for their mountain views and peaceful atmosphere. In Chitwan, you’ll stay in eco-lodges or jungle resorts, which offer both comfort and proximity to nature. All rooms come with private bathrooms and most offer Wi-Fi access.

The best seasons for this tour are spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is pleasant, and skies are typically clear for mountain views. Winter (December to February) is also a good time, especially for those who enjoy cooler climates and less crowded sites. However, monsoon season (June to August) is generally not ideal due to heavy rain and reduced visibility, though the landscapes are lush and vibrant.

Yes, daily breakfast is included throughout the tour, and lunch and dinner are included during the stay in Chitwan National Park. Transportation is provided in private, air-conditioned vehicles for all intercity and local transfers, ensuring a comfortable travel experience. Everest Mountain Flight
One of the most spectacular add-ons offered by Asiana Treks and Tours is the Everest Mountain Flight, a thrilling one-hour scenic flight over the Himalayas that provides breathtaking aerial views of the world’s tallest peaks. This early morning flight departs from Kathmandu and circles Mount Everest along with other giants like Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu.

The experience offers unparalleled photo opportunities and a unique perspective of the Himalayan range without the physical demands of trekking. Passengers are seated beside panoramic windows in a small aircraft, allowing uninterrupted views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, and glaciers. Guides onboard provide commentary on the mountains’ geography and significance, enriching the flight with fascinating insights.

This add-on is ideal for travelers with limited time or those unable to trek but still eager to witness Everest’s majesty. The flight can be easily combined with your main Himalayan Triangle itinerary or booked separately.
