If you miss the regular trip briefing, don't worry. We'll provide it at a convenient time before departure from Pokhara, either before a World Heritage tour the following morning or the next day. We'll then proceed to Pokhara by tourist bus, departing around 7 a.m. from Sorakhutte, Kathmandu.

The package includes transportation by tourist bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara, offering a comfortable and scenic journey. Porter, Luggage, and extra Luggage storage: 

We cover the cost of porters for your luggage, but please note that the maximum weight limit is 12 kg per person. Each porter carries luggage for two trekkers; please share a duffel bag with another. Our porters will carry up to 25 kg each. If you need a porter for yourself, we can arrange that. We also recommend carrying a small backpack for your valuables and important documents. You can leave extra luggage at our office for free or at a hotel in Pokhara, Namche, etc.

Accommodation:

We will accommodate you at the five-star Hotel Kathmandu and the four-star Hotel Pokhara, while using a luxury resort during the Sarangkot Dhampus Luxury Trek, ensuring the best comfort. Two people share rooms. A single supplement is provided upon request at an additional cost. We carefully select comfortable guest houses to ensure a pleasant and restful stay throughout your Trek. In Kathmandu and Pokhara, you will stay at five Trekr hotels or similar luxury resorts, which offer full amenities and a cosy atmosphere to guarantee a relaxing experience in the best locations.

Meals during the trip:

Eating well has been essential since the Sarangkot-Dhampus Luxury trek in the Himalayan foothills. You'll have plenty of nutritious meals in the trekking regions. Breakfast will be served at the same hotel where we stayed in Kathmandu and Pokhara, and even during the trek, although the options won't be as varied as in the cities. You'll get the Right breakfasts, four lunches, and four dinners during the Trek. The menu features a variety of local, Asian, and Western dishes. Try popular Nepali foods like lentils, rice, curry, dumplings, noodles, Spaghetti, and many more. We highly recommend consuming fresh vegetables and drinking liquids such as green tea, lemon tea, hot lemon, ginger tea, and garlic soup, especially at high altitudes. While non-vegetarian options are available during the Trek, we suggest you avoid them for hygiene reasons. The package does not include alcoholic beverages or additional drinks at lodges or cafes.

Drinking more water daily is essential when trekking in Nepal to prevent dehydration. Suppose you have extra days in Nepal after the Trek. In that case, we can arrange a tour, an overnight Trek at Nagarkot Balthali or any other place around Kathmandu and Chitwan, a jungle safari, paragliding, rafting, canyoning, or other treks. Trek Difficulty:

Sarangkot Dhanpus trekking presents easy, lowland trekking. Completing this trek is achievable even for beginners, provided you maintain a reasonable fitness level. Prior trekking experience is advantageous, although it is optional. All you need is the readiness to hike steadily for 3-5 hours on easy trails.

Suppose trekkers have pre-existing medical conditions, such as lung or heart diseases. In that case, they are advised to consult their physician before booking the trek to ensure their safety and well-being throughout the journey.

End of Trek:

On the eleventh day, you'll take a bus from Pokhara back to Kathmandu, which takes about seven hours. Alternatively, you can fly from Pokhara to Kathmandu for an extra fee. In the evening, we'll host a farewell dinner in Kathmandu.

Departure:

Trip Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Your trip day starts today when you arrive to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. Upon your arrival, you will be received by our representative at the airport. He will be carrying a signboard with our company’s name on it. Then you will be transferred to the tour hotel and checked in. A trip briefing will follow later today and the time will be notified to you by the representative who picks you up from the airport. We will come to meet and brief you about the trip at the fixed time. Until then just relax or explore a bit of surrounding.

Day 2 : Heritage Tour of Kathmandu

We take you for a day tour of cultural heritage monuments in Kathmandu valley after breakfast. The tour will give you a mixed insight of history, culture, art, architecture and spirituality of Kathmandu valley. The sites include; Swoyambhunath aka Monkey Temple: The oldest of all sites in Kathmandu valley, Swoyambhunath is an important Buddhist spiritual site having the history over two thousand years old. This site has gained a popular name as monkey temple as this small forested hill is a good habitat for hundreds of monkeys. The visit there will heighten your spiritual and cultural experience. Patan City including Patan Durbar Square: A tour to medieval city of Patan gives you a great insight about ethnic Newari culture, Budhhist spirituality, religious harmony, art and architecture while you stroll around the charismatic alleys taking you to magnificent local community squares known as Bahal and eventually leading you to an incredible medieval palace square. The monuments and skill of the local artisans displayed on those monuments in the square will stun you with their unbelievable charm. Boudhanath Stupa: The largest of its kind in the world, this magnificent stupa is a very important center of faith for the people following Tibetan Buddhism. This place is nice Circular Square with the stunning stupa in the middle of it which spreads a lot of spiritual vibrations around the atmosphere.

Day 3 : Kathmandu – Pokhara

We will fly to Pokhara in the morning after breakfast. After about 25 minutes of flight, we reach the eloquently charming city of Pokhara. Once we reach Pokhara, the charm of the city will capture our attention for a good feeling of being amidst the natural wonders from close up Himalayas to the surrounding lakes. A lake nearby our hotel is a nice place to take an evening stroll and the lakeside town has lots of options to dine.

Day 4 : Pokhara – Sarangkot

Drive early morning to Sarangkot to enjoy the close up view of the Annapurna range of the Himalayas and a spectacular sunrise over those mountains. Spend the whole day at Sarangkot today enjoying the mountain views and exploring the surroundings. Overnight at a luxury resort with the view of the mountains will make the stay comfortable and wonderful.

Day 5 : Sarangkot – Naudanda

Another early morning view of the incredible Annapurna range with the sunrise over it is a good start of the day. You will embark on a gentle walking adventure to Naudanda today. About 4 hours of gentle walk through local villages will bring you a chance to enjoy the local culture and beautiful surroundings. Stay overnight at a beautiful resort in Naudanda with the view of mountains.


Day 6 : Naudanda – Dhampus

Start the day with another beautiful morning with the view of mountains. You will be walking to Dhampus today. It will be a beautiful nature walk to the destination. Nature and local villages give you a nice experience of walking through the gentle terrain. Once you reach Dhampus and check into a luxury resort, you will have time to enjoy the view of the mountains and explore the surroundings.

Day 7 : Dhampus – Pokhara exploration

Spend the beautiful morning in Dhambus enjoying the mountains and beautiful natural surroundings. Later, trek down to Dhampus Phedi where your vehicle will be waiting for you to take you back to Pokhara. On the way back to Pokhara, visit a monastery in the Tibetan refugee settlement. Spend a relaxing evening in Pokhara.

Day 8 : Pokhara – Kathmandu

Enjoy the first half of the day in Pokhara enjoying a peaceful time. You may like to go for some adventure activities like paragliding, zip flying, ultra-light flight, bungee jumping etc. as an add-on to the trip. Later, in the afternoon, take a flight back to Kathmandu and spend leisurely time.

Day 9 : Departure Day

We will drive you to airport for your departure flight as per the schedule.
