10 of us left it in the hands of Thakur to arrange a tour of Nepal. Our airport pick up and hotel arrangements were organized by him and made sure we had reliable transport to take us around Nepal. He knows the tourist spots well. Thakur arranged an elephant ride to see the single horn Rhino, a sun rise over the Himalaya range and a flight to see Mt. Everest. Everything went smoothly. All of us enjoyed the tour and our thanks to Thakur.

My husband and I did a tour with Thakur in November 2014, not only did we get to see parts of Katmandu but we also did the Annapurna circuit so we saw much of Nepal. The beautiful landscape mixed with rich cultural experiences with the locals made for a truly unforgettable experience. We were originally hesitant to do a guided tour but we ended up loving it as it created a virtually stress free vacation. From airport pick up and drop off to booked lodgings and scheduled days, it is definitely something we would do again.

No matter what ethnicity, race, color, or creed you represent, everyone innately understands the power of a smile. And that is what Thakur has shown everyday when we trekked along the Annapurna circuit in 2014. Not all smiles are genuine, but Thakur's smile was different. His showed humor, story, love for his country, and deep connection to humanity. We instantly connected through sharing jokes with the few Nepalese words that I picked up along the way (e.g. "namaste" and "ramri keta" haha!). Thakur was also very knowledgeable and willing to share about the Nepalese culture and country. The trek was simply stunning with the amazing panoramas, but what makes it enriching is the people that join you along the journey. A smile can connect the world. Why do I say that? The reason is Thakur was not even my tour guide, but one that happen to be traveling the same route during the same time.
